Lazy Jane Kids was started by a mom in California who couldn't find well-made stylish kids clothing that wasn't ridiculously expensive. Everything she found was too short, too boxy or just too lame. She yearned for longer, leaner clothes to fit her little girl...and being way cute wouldn't hurt either!
She decided to put her two degrees in Graphic Design and Fashion Design back to work and start her own company. Why 'Lazy Jane' you ask? Well, one night while reading the Shel Silverstein poem of the same name to her daughter, something really resonated with her. It made her think of those never-ending summer days spent as a carefree kid--when you could just lie on your back and watch the clouds go by.
That mom is me! I hope you enjoy my designs and my attention to detail. For example, we don't have neck tags--the labels are hand-stamped inside of the garment so they are never scratchy on your little one's neck.
